Brehm, Iris M. (Marriage - 1 Oct. 1949)
Miss Iris M. Brehm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Brehm, and Wilmer W. Bandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bandt of Chili, were united in marriage at the Methodist church in Colby, Wisconsin Saturday afternoon, Oct. 1, Rev. F. J. Sprengler reading the marriage ceremony.
The bride was attired in an aqua gabardine suit with black accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Her sister, Miss Roberta Brehm, as maid of honor, wore a grey gabardine suit with green accessories and a corsage of salmon-colored roses.
The best man was Forest Foemmel, a cousin of the groom. A brother-in-law of the bride, Amos Foster, ushered for the ceremony.
Dressed in a black dress, the bride’s mother wore a corsage of rose carnations and white asters, while the groom’s mother wore a gray dress. Their corsages were identical.
A supper served at the home of the bride’s parents was followed by a reception in the evening.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby High School and has been employed the past two years in Marshfield by Normington’s, while the groom was recently employed by the Bucheye Steamwhip Co., of Cleveland, Ohio.
After returning from a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, the couple will resided at Chili.
